Week 1: Workshop + Practical Session

Workshop and Lecture Notes
31st January

Think about the possibilities of how you can exhibit your work, whether it is online, via a competition, an installation at a gallery etc.

You should propose two budgets for your project:
- Exhibition/Printing/Installation for Degree Show/Gallery (non-assessed)
- The production of the project (what will be assessed)

The production of the project will involve me producing brochure/magazine publicity materials such as the final images and it's description/blurb.

Consider whom you may invite to your project's exhibition show such as family and industry.

Think about the Photo Festivals in Brighton during the summer and if you could get in contact with them about your project.

Talk to Paul about:
- Extended Bookings (approval for this week and future shoots)
- What Camera - I want to use my iPhone
- The connection between my images (personal decision or demolition)
- Kickstarter Funding

Lecture 1: Introduction to Module

Speaker: Adrian Goycoolea

Mandrake Films Producer

Degree Show + Student Forum
There will be another feedback student forum this term...pizza

Degree Show - A chance for students to exhibit their work
Although, this is not part of your assessment

Location: ACCA - There are only two days available for a degree show: 30th + 31st May

You'll have a blurb and your physical final production. Remember that your project will have an online presence too via the University.

Publicity Materials - 16th March

We can look for a screening space in Brighton town or Silverstone. The main issue is the logistics of the degree in regards to exhibiting every student's work.
